This week we learned about the birth of Jesus. This was a really short overview, which kind of confused Emily. It just skimmed over the main topics of his birth. It did not get into all the details, which my kids are used to hearing. I used this a learning opportunity. We talked about summarizing story's. We discussed about only telling about the main idea of the story, while leaving out all the little details.
Memory Verse:
"But then the right time came. God set his Son. A women gave birth to him. He was born under the authority of the law. He came to set free those were under the law. He wanted us to be adopted as children with all the rights children have." Galations 4:4-5
I printed tracing sheets in cursive of the memory verse. The girls enjoyed this, as they both really want to learn cursive. I found the site here.
