Ropes and Pulley's

We joined our homeschool group to learn about ropes and pulleys. The kids made two different pulley's.  When we got home, the kids hooked them up to the top of the stairs. They placed items in a bag at the bottom of the stairs and took turns pulling them up.  It was nice to see them use a project after this class, as sometimes they lessons are a little advanced for lower elementary grades.
