- Wait for mother to eat before eating.
- No elbows on the table.
- Sit up straight.
- Use bread or knife to push your food onto your fork, not your fingers.
- Do not speak with your mouth full of food.
- Take small bites of food.
- Chew with your mouth closed.
- Sip a drink, don’t gulp.
- Don’t reach, ask.
- Keep used napkin in your lap.
- Keep your free hand in your lap, not on the table.
- Always offer the last of something to others first.
- Do not complain about what is put in front of you.
- Ask to be excused before leaving the table.
